Living with Kingdom Kindness

As royalty in ELohim's (God's) kingdom, we're called to reflect His character - especially His kindness and compassion. Today's readings challenge us to put away bitterness, rage, and malice, replacing them with kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. This isn't always easy, particularly when we've been hurt. Reflect on situations where you find it difficult to show kindness. How might remembering your royal identity help you respond with Elohim's (God's) love, even in challenging circumstances? Choose one practical way to show unexpected kindness to someone today, representing your King well.

Reading:

Ephesians 4:31-32 Names of God Bible

31 Get rid of your bitterness, hot tempers, anger, loud quarreling, cursing, and hatred. 32 Be kind to each other, sympathetic, forgiving each other as God has forgiven you through Christ.

Colossians 3:12-14 Names of God Bible

12 As holy people whom Elohim (God) has chosen and loved, be sympathetic, kind, humble, gentle, and patient. 13 Put up with each other, and forgive each other if anyone has a complaint. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 Above all, be loving. This ties everything together perfectly.
