Our Mission is to Uplift Christ so He can draw as many people as Possible
We use the actual names of God
At Uplift, we are a Bible-based church dedicated to studying Scripture in its original Hebrew and Greek. We believe that using the actual names of God—rather than the generic terms found in many modern translations—deepens our understanding of His character, power, and love.
Throughout this site, as well as in our services and meetings, you will see and hear names such as Elohim (God), Yahweh (The LORD), and Yeshua (Jesus). We use these names intentionally because they hold profound meaning.
For example, the name Yeshua is not just a label; it carries the powerful meaning of salvation and deliverance (Matthew 1:21). Scripture tells us:
"At the name of Yeshua, every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:10-11)
Unlike "Yeshua," which conveys His divine mission, "Jesus" is a later transliteration created by men with no specific meaning. By using the name given by Elohim (God) Himself, we acknowledge the fullness of His identity and the power in His name.
At Uplift, we seek to honor God by calling on Him as He revealed Himself—so that we may know Him more deeply and draw closer to Him in truth.

Uplift Statement of Faith
I'm not what I do.
I'm not what I have.
I'm not what people say about me.
I am the beloved of Elohim (God).
It's who I am!
And no one can take that from me.
I don't have to worry.
I don't have to hurry.
I don't have to be what the world wants me to be.
I will trust the Father
I will follow the Son
And the Holy Spirit will reside in me
To Elohim (God) be the Glory AMEN
TRINITY
There is one Elohim (God), eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11).
FATHER
SON
Elohim (God) is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. Elohim (God) is good. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises. (Exodus 3:14; Numbers 23:19; Leviticus 11:44-45; 19:2; Psalm 11:4-6; Malachi 3:6; John 3:16; 4:24; 5:26; 14:1; Acts 17:28; Romans 3:3-4)
Yeshua (Jesus) Christ is Elohim (God) the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Yeshua (Jesus) was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory. (John 1:1,14, 20:28; I Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; I Timothy 2:5).
HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily. (2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7–13, John 14:16, John 14:17, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 2:12, 1 Corinthians 3:16, Ephesians 1:13, Galatians 5:25, Ephesians 5:18)
VIRGIN BIRTH
Yeshua (Jesus) Christ was conceived by Elohim (God) the Father, through the Holy Spirit (the third person of the Trinity) in the virgin Mary’s womb; therefore, He is the Son of Elohim (God) (Matthew 1:18, 25; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:27-35).
REDEMPTION
Man was created good and upright, but by voluntary transgression he fell; his only hope of redemption is in Yeshua (Jesus) Christ. (Gen. 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21).
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of Elohim (God). The Old Testament is not contrary to the New Testament. Both the Old and New Testament show that everlasting life is offered to Mankind by Christ, who is the only Mediator between Elohim (God) and man.
