Rescued, Redeemed, Forgiven
Through Christ's death and resurrection, we have been rescued from the dominion of darkness and brought into Elohim's (God's) kingdom of light. We are redeemed - bought back at a great price. And we are forgiven of all our sins, no matter how dark or shameful they may be.
Yet so often we continue to live as if we are still enslaved, unworthy, and condemned. We rehearse our past failures and allow guilt to hold us back from the abundant life Christ died to give us. Today, take time to truly receive and rest in your identity as one who is rescued, redeemed and forgiven. If there are specific sins weighing on you, confess them to Elohim (God) and receive His forgiveness anew.
Let the truth of Romans 8:1 wash over you: "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Yeshua (Jesus)." You are free. You are loved. You are forgiven.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for rescuing me from darkness and bringing me into Your marvelous light. Help me to live as one who is truly redeemed and forgiven. May Your grace empower me to walk in freedom today. Amen.
