Putting on the New Self

A piece of furniture is not truly restored until a new finish is applied. In the same way, once we have been cleansed, refined, and repaired, Elohim (God) calls us to put on our new nature in Christ. Walking in this renewal means leaving behind anger, bitterness, and sin, and embracing the character of our Creator. Today, choose to walk in your new identity as one transformed by His grace.

"But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature… Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like Him."
