Deliverance in the Deep

Jonah found Yahweh at the lowest point of his life. In the belly of the fish, far from light and comfort, he discovered what surrender really means. He couldn’t swim out. He couldn’t climb out. He could only cry out. That’s when Yahweh met him and lifted him from the pit. Deliverance isn’t found in strength—it’s found in surrender.

What “deep place” has Yahweh been using to teach you how to surrender?

Prayer:

Yahweh, even when I feel surrounded, I know You are near. Lift my heart from despair and teach me to trust You more deeply. Amen.

The waters surrounded me, even to my soul; the deep closed around me; weeds were wrapped around my head. I went down to the moorings of the mountains... yet You have brought up my life from the pit, O Yahweh my Elohim.
