Uproot the Bitter Root

Bitterness grows silently, but Elohim removes it faithfully when we surrender it to Him.

Jonah reminds us that bitterness can hide beneath the surface while shaping our moods, reactions, and expectations. Yahweh Elohim never reveals bitterness to condemn us, He reveals it to heal us. Today I am thankful for you and for the work Elohim is doing in your heart. Every bitter seed He uproots makes more room for grace, compassion, and peace to flourish in your life.

Where has bitterness quietly taken root in your heart without you noticing?

Prayer:

Yahweh Elohim, search my heart and remove every bitter root. Heal what is wounded and fill that place with Your grace and Your peace. Amen.
