Run to Win

Runners don’t stumble into victory—they train with focus and discipline. Paul reminds us that everyone runs, but only those who discipline themselves receive the prize. For us, the crown is eternal, unfading, worth every sacrifice. Self-control in prayer, fasting, and obedience trains us to run straight and strong. You are not called to run aimlessly but to run with purpose, eyes set on Yeshua.

Reflection Question:

What discipline will I practice today that helps me run with focus?

Prayer:

Yahweh, give me self-control and purpose in my race. Help me run faithfully for the crown that never fades. Amen.

1 Corinthians 9:24–25 (HCSB)

Don’t you know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way to win the prize. Now everyone who competes exercises self-control in everything. However, they do it to receive a crown that will fade away, but we a crown that will never fade away.
