Rejoice in the Refining

Refining is not punishment; it’s preparation. Peter reminds us that our tested faith is more valuable than gold. Rejoice not because the trial is easy, but because it is making you ready to stand before Yeshua with honor and joy.

Reflect on how you can shift from complaining to rejoicing in your current trial. How is Elohim preparing you for something greater?

Prayer:

Yahweh, thank You for the refining fire. Teach me to rejoice in the process, knowing You are preparing me for eternal glory with Yeshua. Amen.

You are extremely happy about these things, even though you have to suffer different kinds of trouble for a little while now. The purpose of these troubles is to test your faith as fire tests how genuine gold is. Your faith is more precious than gold. And by passing the test, it gives praise, glory, and honor to Elohim when Yeshua Christ is revealed.
