Positioned to Receive

Before the Spirit can pour into us, we must be positioned to receive. A cup turned upside down, no matter how much is poured, cannot be filled. This is how many of us live—distracted, resistant, or spiritually disengaged. Yahweh (the Lord) wants to pour His Spirit on all people, but we must open ourselves to receive. Are you spiritually postured to receive what Elohim wants to pour into your life? Ask Ruach HaKodesh, to turn your heart upward to Him today. Ask Him to fill me with expectation and readiness to receive His Rauch.


Reading: Joel 2:28-29 (NKJV)

“And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Ruach (Spirit) on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Ruach (Spirit) in those days.
