The Purpose of His Rejection
Yeshua entered our suffering so He could help us in ours.
Scripture tells us it was necessary for Yeshua to become like us in every way. He experienced suffering, rejection, testing, and hardship so that He could fully understand the human condition. Because of this, we do not follow a distant Savior. We follow One Who understands weakness and pain firsthand. The rejection He endured equipped Him to stand before Father as our merciful and faithful High Priest. When we face testing or hardship, we are not alone. The One Who walked through suffering now helps us through ours.
Reflection Question
How does knowing that Yeshua understands your struggles change the way you bring your burdens to Him?
Prayer
Father, thank You for giving us a Savior Who understands our weakness and suffering. Teach me to bring my struggles to You instead of trying to carry them alone. Amen.

Hebrews 2:17–18 (NLT)
Therefore, it was necessary for Him to be made in every respect like us, His brothers and sisters, so that He could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then He could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. Since He Himself has gone through suffering and testing, He is able to help us when we are being tested.
