The Invitation to Come Boldly
Because Yeshua understands our weakness, we can come boldly before Father. The rejection Yeshua endured opened the door for us to approach Father with confidence. The One Who was despised and rejected became our merciful and faithful High Priest. He knows our weakness, our struggles, and the tests we face because He walked through them Himself, yet without sin. Because of this, we do not have to approach Father in fear, shame, or hesitation. We are invited to come boldly to the throne of grace. Boldness does not come from our perfection. It comes from His sacrifice. Through Yeshua, mercy and grace are available exactly when we need them. When we draw near to Him with faith, we discover that the throne we once feared is actually the place where help, mercy, and grace are freely given.
Reflection Question
What would change in your life if you approached Father with boldness instead of hesitation?
Prayer
Father, thank You that through Yeshua I can come to You with confidence. Help me release fear, pride, or hesitation and trust the mercy and grace You freely give. Amen.
Reading
Hebrews 4:15–16 (HCSB)
For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One Who has been tested in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.
