The Measure You Use
The standard you apply to others reveals the standard shaping your own heart.
Yeshua warned that judgment without humility blinds us. It is easy to notice flaws in others while ignoring our own deeper issues. Kingdom living begins with self-examination. Removing the log from our own eye creates clarity, compassion, and credibility. When we lead with humility instead of superiority, correction becomes restoration instead of condemnation. The Kingdom grows when grace governs how we see others.
Reflection Question
What “log” might Father be asking you to address before focusing on someone else’s “speck”?
Prayer
Yeshua, give me humility to examine my own heart first. Remove pride, harshness, and blind spots from my life. Help me extend grace the same way I desire to receive it. Amen.
Reading
Matthew 7:1–5 (NLT)
Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye
