Seeing Yeshua in the Storm
Storms often reveal not just what we are facing, but Who we truly see walking toward us.
When the disciples saw Yeshua coming to them on the water, they did not recognize Him as God. Fear distorted their vision, and they assumed He was a ghost. The storm was so loud that it drowned out familiarity, and panic caused them to misinterpret His presence. Yet even when they misunderstood Him, Yeshua still came closer. Storms can cause us to misread what Elohim is doing, but His presence does not depend on our clarity. He still comes. Do you see Him?
Reflection Question
In your current storm, could fear be causing you to miss Yeshua’s presence?
Prayer
Yahweh Elohim, calm my heart so I can recognize Yeshua when He comes to me in the storm. Help me see clearly even when fear is loud. Amen.
Reading
Matthew 14:26–27 (NKJV)
And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost! And they cried out for fear.
But immediately Yeshua spoke to them, saying, Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.
